DEVELOPER CONTRACT

AGEIS API execution model

The public developer contract describes the governance and failure semantics exposed by AGEIS. Endpoint-specific schemas remain versioned with the implementation; this surface documents the invariants callers can rely on.

Authentication

Tenant/session-bound APIs fail closed when identity or authorization is absent.

Idempotency

Durable execution routes bind request identity so retries do not silently duplicate work.

Provider routing

Provider selection is constrained by capability, auth, health, rights, privacy, quota, region, cost, latency and output acceptance.

Evidence

Execution emits exact-head audit/readback evidence; credential material is never returned by runtime-truth surfaces.

Failure semantics

Blocked, degraded and unavailable provider states remain explicit; the API does not fabricate success.
